Durriya Bharmal has been employed at various immigration consulting and law firms specializing in immigration law as an immigration consultant and paralegal. She has been employed in this field since 1989. She has also attended various immigration courses including Immigration Practices and Procedures Section I and II at Seneca College in Toronto, Canada. She also volunteers periodically at non-profit religious organizations in providing immigration assistance.

Ms. Bharmal was a key volunteer member of a non-profit charitable organization in Toronto that aided the migration to Canada of about one hundred displaced families of Canadians from the earthquake-hit province of Gujarat, India in January, 2001.

Ms. Bharmal specializes in overseas skilled worker applications, business immigration applications, sponsorships, study and work permits, temporary resident permits and other overseas applications.  She also specializes in sponsorships and applications under humanitarian and compassionate grounds in Canada as well as overseas.  Her many years of experience within the field of immigration law have provided Durriya with extensive practical experience to the point that she is regulary contacted by local immigration lawyers seeking her thoughts on the above types of cases.
