Elise graduated from York University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations. She obtained her law degree in 2003 from the Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. Elise was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004.

Elise completed her articles of clerkship at Mamann, Sandaluk. While attending law school, Elise volunteered as a junior editor of Refuge, a news journal for refugees, and she also participated in the Canadian Lawyers Association for International Human Rights. Elise spent her last term of law school at the immigration and refugee division at Parkdale Community Legal Services. There, she gained valuable experience in the immigration field working directly with low-income individuals wishing to establish permanent residence in Canada.

Elise Bell represents a wide variety of clients in her work with Mamann, Sandaluk. She assists both employers and employees gain access to the Canadian labour market through applications for work permits, temporary resident permits and permanent residence. Elise also represents clients in applications for family sponsorship and humanitarian and compassionate consideration. She is active in the Mississauga community, leading seminars and workshops and providing insight into the fine points of Canadian immigration law.
