The Immigration Appeal Division allowed this removal order appeal, finding that the Appellant had acquired status in Canada by making a material misrepresentation of fact (entering into a fraudulent marriage) but that there existed sufficient humanitarian and compassionate grounds to warrant the granting of special relief in her case.
